adventures of mascarah.

I've just begun a new decade. Sigh.

I have always wanted to be "a writer" but I'm lost somewhere in the prologue...whittling away at a story I may never tell.

A southerner by birth, northerner by the grace of God, I'm simply a nyc gal who is lost somewhere on my constant exploration of the city and the life, love, and pursuit found within it.

I wish I could chronicle my adventures this weekend but alas, I’m sans camera due to an unfortunate leaving of it at Rusty Knot :(

I’m in the market for a good quality photo, good zoom, would be nice if it also had video. As many MP as possible. I love photos but can’t afford currently the splendor of the awesome mega-Canons that Lauren and Melissa have, any point/shoot hand-sized digital camera recommendations?

  1. salishere answered: the lumix is really good for a point and shoot, for a DSLR Nikion D80 is good, and you could get one for cheep since its discontinued
  2. precariousowl answered: i have a point & shoot canon that runs about $200+, zoom is awesome and takes great pics. has tons of cool settings too!
  3. joshruben answered: Canon G10
  4. agirlinsandiego answered: I love my Canon Rebel DSLR, but have a Sony Cybershot that I always carry in my purse and produces great pictures for a resonable price!
  5. whatsthebeef answered: I was in the same dilemma in January… was advised then purchased a Canon G10… Never looked back since!
  6. marco answered: The Canon SD960IS has been getting amazing reviews, even from SLR owners. $300. amazon.com/dp/B001…
  7. emilyposts answered: A lot of people really love their Canons, but I have always been an Olympus girl for point and shoots. Currently using: tinyurl.com/m3
