I know you all are…but how can I not post at least one? This amazing man (mistakes or not) was the soundtrack to many of my tween & teen memories. I had my first kiss to “I just can’t stop loving you”, did my first dance routine to “Beat It,” have had “Human Nature” on every single running mix-ever, wanted to be Britney when she did her duet with him @ the VMAs…and cried myself to sleep listening to “You are Not Alone.”
We will never know exactly what demons he was troubled with, but I will always remember the way my foot started to tap and my heart started to swell when I heard his beautiful voice and his words began to flow with stories of love, hope, equality, freedom, and a life filled with laughter, love, and second chances.
May peace and love fill his heart and those of his children and family.
