I have always wanted to be "a writer" but I'm lost somewhere in the prologue...whittling away at a story I may never tell.

I missed my blog’s anniversary...it was on the 14th. Usually on that day I reflect on the year….I’ve started my list of this year’s highlights but am not quite ready to share that. So for now, I will share with you a bit of what I’ve learned/remembered in 2009:
- Sometimes you can’t follow your gut, you have to follow your heart
- People may disappoint you…but it’s your choice if you continue to let them
- Sometimes you can’t help who you love (you just can’t)
- Michael fucking Jackson.
- Don’t we all wish we could’ve told him how much it all meant to us?
- The old saying is in fact true, the only thing that stays the same is everything changes.
- Sometimes your sole purpose has to be only, simply to love
- And other times it has to be to just LET GO and move on
- What you thought your life would be at 16 is never gonna be your life.
- Vampires…..don’t we all wish something?
- You have to forgive yourself.
- And while you’re at it, forgive him too. Your hatred isn’t gonna rain on his parade, you might as well let the parade continue
- Bygones should simply be bygones.
- Patrick Swayze lived more in his years than any of us could dream - let us all take that as a lesson to do and be MORE.
- Sometimes the only way to forget….is to forgive.
- Sometimes love will grow in the place you least expect it.
- Don’t give up on people, they will try to give up on you..but you have to convince them to stick through it.
- Friendship…..oh God….don’t we all throw that word around? the truth is that real friendship grows fast, hard…and plants roots so deep in your heart. Always.
- You will always leave something behind that you love…and so it goes. Life rolls on.
- Why count the sheep? Why not count the moments?
- Give ________a chance.They might surprise you.
