Oscar nominees announced this morning! No surprises in Best Picture category, but with ten films in the running, and a whole new voting process, it’s going to be interesting to see how it plays out!
I think this nomination list is solid (minus Penelope Cruz in Nine - that movie was horrendous - the nomination should’ve gone to the lovely Julianne Moore for A Single Man). The Last Station, Crazy Heart, A Single Man, The Hurt Locker & An Education are all amazing movies - ditto on Up in the Air and Inglorious although Tarantino’s psycho Grammy’s presentation made me cringe.
