adventures of mascarah.

I've just begun a new decade. Sigh.

I have always wanted to be "a writer" but I'm lost somewhere in the prologue...whittling away at a story I may never tell.

Likes: pop culture. my chihuahua. architecture. modern art. elizabeth street. contemporary designer apparel. food. travel. foreign films. speakeasys. live music. politics. hot sauce. surprises. running in the rain. strangers. wednesdays. fearlessness...and 100s of other random things... maybe even you.

A southerner by birth, northerner by the grace of God, I'm simply a nyc gal who is lost somewhere on my constant exploration of the city and the life, love, and pursuit found within it.

If you are so inclined... sap {at} lifelovepursuit.com

Looking for some fun young (teens preferably…) creators who are using technology to do fun things, be it parlay blogging into a career, inventing an application or product, landing a record label deal from YT or Myspace, documentary filmmaker getting funding via something online, etc…

Any notable people the top of your head?

  1. carriefrance answered: Hum… i’m not very young, but I’m a writer and teens read my book only from Internet for now and they made me a bit “famous” ^^
  2. jdel answered: Adg, creator of Oh Yeah Facts on Tumblr…she’s 16 but brilliant, and definitely has a future on the interwebs.
  3. caro answered: You should check the archives of IHeartDaily.com. They showcase teen girls doing this stuff a lot.
  4. teresawu answered: YouTube makeup girls (Blair Fowler is.. 17?). maybe look into Teens in Tech.
  5. krankmills answered: Jane from Sea of Shoes is pretty much unstoppable.
