adventures of mascarah.

I've just begun a new decade. Sigh.

I have always wanted to be "a writer" but I'm lost somewhere in the prologue...whittling away at a story I may never tell.

Likes: pop culture. my chihuahua. architecture. modern art. elizabeth street. contemporary designer apparel. food. travel. foreign films. speakeasys. live music. politics. hot sauce. surprises. running in the rain. strangers. wednesdays. fearlessness...and 100s of other random things... maybe even you.

A southerner by birth, northerner by the grace of God, I'm simply a nyc gal who is lost somewhere on my constant exploration of the city and the life, love, and pursuit found within it.

Your apartment is like a dog hostel

Sarah said this classic line tonight.  My friend Mel, who I met earlier, also asked me what the deal was with all the dogs on my blog. (via georgiegirlnyc)

Georgina and John have to be the best pet sitters ever, they truly do have a revolving door of dogs in and out of their pad. I told them every time I see an ad for that Dog Hotel movie I think of them:)

I got to hang with G (and see her amazing pink leather jacket- LOVE!!) and meet John for the first time tonight at Mary’s birthday party. He is awesome, knows a lot about pressure underneath airplanes (you were so right John), and finds the whole tumblr thing a bit stalkerish, which is oh so true.  :)
