This is starting to be a Tuesday trend…divulging the random ideas and thoughts floating through my mind.
- I really am loving Water for Elephants our book club book. I hope the other book clubbers are enjoying it as much as I am.
- Thinking about your own mortality is really, really scary.
- Elle is still depressed and crying and I’m not sure what to do.
- Bravo gave me some Tresemme hair products at a taping last week and I can tell you universally: they are disgusting.
- Gossip Girl posed an interesting hypothetical last night - if you could know everything that would unfold in the future, would you want to know?
- I have to go to an engagement party this weekend @ Soho House of a good friend from my boarding school - what type of gift do you give for engagement parties? I’m afraid Kate Spade’s Manners book is failing me.
- How in the HELL am I going to find a date before then??
- In other date news…I went on a date recently in which the couple at the table next to us had the following convo (Man: this has to be their first date - gesturing towards me/my date. Woman: I don’t think it is..why do you say that? Man: Because she’s too pretty to date him. It has to be a blind first encounter). While I appreciate the compliment - I guess and before you even say anything I’m sure 9 x out of 10 I’m on the unattractive side of the scenario - it still made me feel like shit and then it really made me think…
- Which side of the equation would you rather be on in the “why is xx cutie with xX scenario?” would you rather be the cute one people can’t believe is dating the not as cute one or the not as cute one who has snagged the hottie?
- The Tudors is coming back for another season. Why is Showtime not promoting it properly? Did I miss something?
- I am currently not who I fully want to be.
- I will become fluent in French & Spanish this year. Rosetta Stone in full-effect.
- Entertaining friends is really exhausting.
- Chicago, current cast on broadway, sucks.
- I would really love someone to cook for.
- I never thought I’d ever say/write/think those words. People can change.
